Christmas

We had a great time at Christmas! We started off at cousins Andrew and Ellen's house to watch them open presents from Santa Clause. It didn't take them long to figure out this was a special day! Madeline couldn't take her eyes off of the excitement! She even wore red to match their red pajamas.

Here's Madeline with her loot - yes, it's impressive - Santa may have gone overboard!

Ellen came over to play with Madeline's toys (and play "mommy" to Madeline). Here she is reading her "Goodnight Moon". For those of you who don't know, Ellen takes very good care of Madeline. She says "Uh-oh" every time Madeline's pacifier is out of her mouth and attempts to put it back in with little success. I think Ma-ma (her nickname from Ellen and Andrew) appreciates the attention and effort.

We are trying to get Madeline to spend more time on her tummy (she hates it) by having her watch Baby Mozart on her stomach. I figured it would work after I let her watch it in her Bumbo chair. As you can see, she really likes it.

December Update

I just thought this was a cute picture!Madeline is discovering the world of toys. She like them but is still trying to figure them out.

Here are some pictures from Page family Christmas - thanks for the warm suit, Grammy! We all had fun but Andrew and Ellen had a really good time. They went on a hay ride and mooed at the cows! They were hiding their excitement in this picture. As you can see, Madeline was worn out by the time we went home. I took a picture of her sleeping - what an angel!
